Welcome to Eventabulous SA (“Eventabulous”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website eventabuloussa.com, our online ticketing platform, and all event planning, coordination, and management services we provide (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using our Website and Services, purchasing tickets, or engaging us for event management, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.


1. Definitions

  • Client / You – any person or business engaging Eventabulous SA for event management, ticketing, or related services.

  • Event – any function, celebration, concert, corporate event, wedding, or public/private gathering organized, hosted, or managed by Eventabulous SA.

  • Ticket – a digital or physical document confirming entry to an Event booked through our platform.

  • Supplier / Vendor – any third party contracted for catering, décor, entertainment, venue hire, logistics, etc.

  • Contract – the formal quotation or service agreement between Eventabulous SA and the Client.


2. Scope of Terms

These Terms apply to:

  • all event and ticketing transactions via eventabuloussa.com;

  • any in-person or online booking made with Eventabulous SA;

  • all attendees purchasing tickets to Events managed by us.

Separate agreements may apply to corporate clients or large-scale productions. In the event of conflict, the signed agreement prevails.


3. Event Planning & Booking Process

  1. Quotation – Clients receive a written quote outlining Services, scope, costs, and deliverables.

  2. Deposit – A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required to secure the event date.

  3. Balance Payment – The remaining balance is due as stated in the quote, usually 7–14 days before the event.

  4. Changes – Adjustments to date, venue, or requirements must be confirmed in writing. Additional fees may apply.

  5. Non-Payment – Failure to pay by due date may result in cancellation of Services and forfeiture of deposit.


4. Ticket Purchases

4.1 Pricing & Availability

All ticket prices include VAT where applicable and are subject to change without notice. Ticket availability is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.

4.2 Booking Confirmation

Your order is confirmed once payment has been received and you receive a confirmation email containing your digital ticket(s).

4.3 Payment Methods

We accept secure online payments via trusted payment gateways such as PayFast or Yoco. We do not store your card details.

4.4 Refunds & Exchanges
  • Non-Refundable: All ticket sales are final unless an event is cancelled or postponed.

  • Postponement: If an event is postponed, your ticket remains valid for the new date.

  • Cancellation: If an event is cancelled, full or partial refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–14 working days.

  • Incorrect Purchases: We cannot refund tickets purchased in error once payment has been processed.

4.5 Ticket Resale or Transfer

Tickets may not be resold or transferred for commercial gain without written consent. Eventabulous SA reserves the right to cancel any tickets found to have been resold or misused.

4.6 Entry & ID Verification

You must present a valid ticket (digital or printed) at entry. We may request identification to verify the ticket holder’s name.


5. Event Entry & Behaviour

  • Eventabulous SA and its venue partners reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any person behaving inappropriately, intoxicated, or posing a risk to others.

  • Prohibited items (weapons, illegal substances, external alcohol, etc.) are not permitted.

  • Photography, videography, or recording may be restricted for certain events.

  • You agree to abide by venue rules and security instructions at all times.


6. Client Responsibilities (for private & corporate events)

  • Provide accurate event details, guest numbers, and logistical requirements.

  • Obtain necessary permits, licenses, and insurance where applicable.

  • Ensure suppliers you directly engage comply with safety and venue requirements.

  • Respond promptly to approval requests, ensuring smooth coordination.

Eventabulous SA will not be responsible for delays, losses, or cancellations resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client.


7. Our Responsibilities

We agree to:

  • perform all services with professionalism and reasonable skill;

  • coordinate suppliers, décor, logistics, and entertainment where contracted;

  • communicate transparently about costs, timelines, and challenges;

  • act as your liaison with venues and suppliers as required.

However, we are not liable for acts or omissions of third-party suppliers, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our control.


8. Event Cancellations & Force Majeure

We may cancel or postpone an event due to circumstances such as natural disasters, government restrictions, illness, or safety risks. In such cases:

  • You will be notified immediately;

  • Refunds or credit options will be offered;

  • Eventabulous SA will not be liable for consequential losses (e.g. accommodation or travel costs).


9. Intellectual Property

All branding, designs, images, videos, and text on our Website are owned or licensed by Eventabulous SA. You may not reproduce or distribute this material without our written permission.

We may capture photos or videos at events for marketing purposes. If you prefer not to appear in such materials, please notify us in writing before the event.


10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific Service or ticket.

  • We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages including loss of income, goodwill, or data.

  • You assume all risks associated with attending events, including injury, theft, or damage to property, unless caused by our gross negligence.


11. Privacy & Data Protection

We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Your personal data (name, email, phone number, billing details) is collected solely for ticketing, communication, and service delivery.
We will never sell or share your data without your consent.

12. Amendments

We may update these Terms periodically. The updated version will be posted on our website with the “last updated” date. Continued use of our Website or Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.


13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes shall be resolved through negotiation or, failing that, through the courts of Gauteng.
